About me
I have been working online part-time and then full-time for many years. I started by extending my regular job so that I could occasionally work at home, then I did more and more.

These days, I do project managers with a global virtual team, I build information database and my main activity is developing this virtual work community that will re-invent how to work from you home to earn a good living.

I live in Ottawa, Canada but working virtually has also afforded me the opportunity to spend time in London, UK and travel throughout Europe.

Before I start the marketing for any new project, I quickly write down what I believe the problem I can solve better than most is. For that, I usually start with a mind mapping program such as Freemind (another great open-source product)

After that initial inventory of what I have to offer, I start looking at online news or website where interested people hang around and write about their problems. Google Trends is very useful for that: just type the topic you are interested in, and see trends and demographics of people searching for that keyword.

I have been using and contributing to Open Source products for many years (such as Joomla and Firefox) and have found that I have been able to learn more and get more work than using traditional commercial products.
