My name is Michael Codere, I am from Ottawa, Canada and I have been working with high technologies with computers for more than 25 years. I got my start with computers as a teenager in the early 1980's and have kept-up with them ever since. First I moved on in the aviation industry where I designed and programmed sophisticated on-board computers.

I obtained a BSc in Mathematics and Physics (applicable to any technological issues) and then a Masters in Engineering. After that, I worked mainly as a system engineer for aerospace projects, writing software for aircraft navigation, leading maintenance crews and managing projects dealing with teams distributed throughout Canada, the US and Europe.

Later on, I was then certified as a Professional Project Manager (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and then transitioned to a successful consulting business in 2004.

Over the years, I have evolved from an employee of a large organization to a self-directed entrepreneur doing more and more business virtually and then I started the first version of the Vwork.com web site in 2004 as a research idea, which is now being proven true by worldwide trends in globalization of services and virtual work, be that simple telecommuting of regular employees, to freelancers providing real value to customers anywhere, to large corporations outsourcing millions of dollars worth of services.

I have developed a passion about business efficiency and people working together for that win-win solution where everybody truly contributes their best effort and all benefits positively. This is a principle that applies to the Internet more than anywhere else.

This honest and efficient approach has proven itself many times over and has allowed me to optimize my Work - Life balance and achieve success in all areas of my life. I have been able to travel through the world and enjoy an incredible of quality time with my family, doing more sports and spending time with friends.
